Description
Three solid-core panels use aircraft-grade aluminum skins on this low-profile G2 for the listed 2026 Ranger. The semi-gloss black powder coat resists corrosion, fading, chipping and flaking and is described as meeting ISO quality benchmarks. Evenly distributed load is limited to 300 pounds.
Bed access and security
Two folds bring the panels toward the cab, where the front hinge allows the complete stack to lift. Integrated struts secure the open cover against the cab for driving with oversized cargo while limiting rattles and vibration. Automatic slam latches engage the patented rail-and-clamp system as each panel closes; close the tailgate and cover to secure the bed and conceal its contents.
Weather protection and fitting
EPDM perimeter seals, rounded hinges and built-in drainage help keep water and debris out. Inside-rail clamps install without drilling in an estimated hour. Ladder racks, headache racks and crossover toolboxes are incompatible.
