Description
Longer shank for thicker ball mounts: CURT 40074 is a 2-inch chrome-plated trailer ball with a 6,000-lb gross trailer weight rating and a 1-inch diameter by 3-inch long threaded shank. Check coupler size, ball-mount thickness and mounting-hole diameter; the hole must not exceed the shank diameter by more than 1/16 inch. CURT specifies 250 ft-lb installation torque. Hex nut and lock washer are included. This is not the shorter 2-1/8-inch-shank CURT 40066.
