Description
This Ruthenium HX plug uses a projected insulator with a tapered seat. Its fine-electrode design concentrates spark energy, and trivalent plating protects the metal surface.
Trivalent plating eliminates the need for anti-seize. The design supports durability, complete combustion, smoother idle and cold starting.
The Double Fine Electrode design concentrates spark energy across rich and lean air-fuel conditions. A 0.4 mm ruthenium-alloy center electrode works with a 0.8 mm platinum ground electrode. Corrugated ribs help prevent flashover, the alumina-silicate ceramic insulator supports heat transfer, and the copper core carries heat away. Trivalent metal plating provides corrosion and seizure resistance.
