access-covers-h1040049-rockstar-ram-hd-diamond-plated-rear-flap
ROCKSTAR H1040049 Ram 2500 3500 Full-Width Tow Flap

Protecting a trailer from road spray is different from fitting ordinary wheel-well splash guards. ROCKSTAR H1040049 spans the rear of the 2019-on Ram heavy-duty truck as a removable, full-width towing flap. It uses wide composite-rubber panels to help deflect grit and slush from a trailer or load behind the pickup.

This configuration cannot be used with the Ram deployable bed step unless the step is removed. The manufacturer uses a urethane diamond-plate frame and vehicle-specific anti-sailing brackets, with rubber rated to remain flexible at low temperatures. Maintain adequate ground clearance with the trailer loaded and check for interference with any nonfactory bumper or receiver.

Product specifications

SKU

H1040049

Product

ROCKSTAR full-width tow flap

Flap thickness

5/16 in. composite rubber

Frame

Urethane diamond plate over aluminum

Mounting

Model-specific brackets, no drilling

Recommended clearance

6-8 in. unloaded; at least 3 in. loaded

Vehicle fitment and ordering notes

Fits

2019-on Ram 2500 and Ram 3500

Critical restriction

Deployable factory bed step must be removed

Bumpers

Designed around original bumper/receiver geometry

Dually trucks

Optional tow-flap extension may be needed for full width

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0732/3785/6462/files/ImageServerAPI_e5139e6c-2047-4acf-86c7-9bf969cf117b.jpg?v=1791399188
https://newrvparts.com/en-ca/products/access-covers-h1040049-rockstar-ram-hd-diamond-plated-rear-flap
